Even though I have had the Stratux with ADAHRs for over a year, I just got around to using the EFIS today .  The airspeed portion read the groundspeed correctly, but what concerned me was the altitude readout tape.  The altitude tape showed around 1400 feet, and at the bottom of the tape it said IND ALT even though we were at 6,500 feet over the Arizona desert.  The altitude readout just to the top right of the EFIS half screen showed 4850 feet. Neither if these readouts were close to the GPS altitude of 6380 feet.

Are there some setting for the EFIS screen? If so how do you access them?  Thanks for any help.

Did you have your Stratux set to the closest station barometric pressure?  That should be the same setting you have in your airplane's Kollsman window.  If so, then the Stratux indicated altitude should be very close to your airplane's indicated altitude.  These can be very different than GPS altitude.

Tim, I don't know you can set the barometric settting on my Stratux.  Besides the altitude on the altitude tape window was off by 5,000 feet from where I was flying which would be way beyond any altimeter baro change change.

You put the altimeter setting in the ALT Setting instrument in iFly.  If  you are receiving an ADS-B ground station, it should get updated automatically.  Maybe your AHRS module is defective.  It also detects barometric pressure.

You can purchase a replacement from Amazon for $15.
