iFly Connect Installation Instructions

You’ll need a Windows PC, an SD card reader, and your iFly SD card.

Already installed? Start at Step 4.

1. Remove the SD card from your iFly

Unplug the device, press the SD card in, and release to remove it. Make sure the lock switch is unlocked.

2. Insert the SD card into your PC

Use a USB SD card reader if needed.

3. Install iFly Connect

Download iFly Connect Installer.exe from the top of this page, open it, click Yes when prompted, and follow the default install steps.

4. Open iFly Connect

Launch iFly Connect with the SD card inserted. Click Yes when it detects the card.

5. Select data and update

Choose your charts and click:

• Install Selected Items for a full update
• Fast WX/TFR Update for weather only

Use Fast WX/TFR when you only need current weather before a flight.

6. Finish and eject

When the update is complete, click OK and choose Yes to safely eject the SD card.

7. Reinsert and verify

Put the SD card back into your iFly and power it on to confirm the new data loads.
