What is included in the purchase?

The iFly X7 Aviation Tablet, a USB-C charging cable, an AC power adapter, a Mounting Bracket, and a RAM compatible mounting ball.

Is a subscription required? What if I already have one?

Yes. A subscription is required to access the iFly EFB app. If you already have an active subscription, you can log in and use it on the X7. See the Subscription tab for details.

Will the tablet stop working if my subscription expires?

The iFly EFB app requires a subscription, however the tablet will still operate as a normal Android device even without an iFly EFB subscription.

Can I run other apps on this tablet?

Yes. The tablet includes the Google Play Store, allowing you to install most Android-compatible apps.

Is this an upgrade from my iFly 740b?

Absolutely. The X7 features a brighter display, improved performance, and updated mounting options. If your 740b is panel-mounted, a new mounting solution may be needed. Refer to the Specifications tab for full dimensions.

Can I trade in my 740b?

There is not a trade-in program for this tablet.

How do I update the unit?

Connect to Wi-Fi, then open the iFly EFB app and tap Menu > Check for Updates to download new charts and data. To update the app itself, use the Google Play Store.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. The X7 includes a 1-year warranty covering manufacturer defects.

What if I’m not satisfied with the product?

Like any Android tablet, a subscription is required to run the iFly EFB application on this tablet. If you already have a subscription you will need available space for a new device.

A basic subscription may be used on 2 devices of the same platform; if you have the Mutli-Platform option on your subscription, you can have a total of 4 devices with a variety of platforms. So please ensure you have appropriate room on your subscription to add another Android device.

Here are some example scenarios:

Scenario: You have a basic subscription with one Android device.
The X7 Aviation Tablet can be added to your current subscription, no additional purchase needed.
Scenario: You have a basic subscription with one iPad.
To add the X7 Aviation Tablet to your account, the Multi-Platform option is required. Click Here to add this to your cart.
Scenario: You have a subscription with the multi-platform option with 3 devices.
The X7 Aviation Tablet can be added to your current subscription, no additional purchase needed.
Scenario: You have a subscritpion with the multi-platform option with 4 devices.
To add the X7 Aviation Tablet, you will need to either deregister one of the existing devices from your account, or purchase a new subscription on a 2nd account.
