This has been mentioned before but I don't think anyone has found a device that works. Found a switchable adapter at http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/car-cigarette-lighter-with-switch.html problem is that I don't need 500 or 100 or how ever many I would need to purchase to get one. Adventure Pilot however might be able to at the low rates listed and offer them to the users at a reasonable rate. So anyway, Walter, Shane and gang look at this and see if it might work.
We've actually asked out factory to look into a cord like this. I know one of our customer found a coiled cord with an adapter that had a switch on it at Radio Shack. I'll look through the forum and see if I can find a link or post to reference. Though it's not aviation grade, it would like work just fine. Hope this helps and thanks for the great feedback.
