Hi Walter – I would like to request an option that would plot a Rhumb course line. This would be in addition to the Great Circle course line. Perhaps a toggle between the two.
For my long cross countries I would first use the Great Circle course line so as to pick my fuel stops as close as possible to this line. After finding all of my fuel stop airports and ‘rubber banding’ my course line to them, I could then toggle all the legs on my route to Rhumb course lines. This would, of course, allow me to fly a constant heading for each leg.
