I enlisted the help of my high school age daughters :) . Copied all files from the original 4gig SD card to the 8 gig card. Worked like a charm after that! Even got to use the WAC charts on a flight down to ABQ to watch the balloon festival this weekend. Thanks again for a great nav system.

I copied the 4 gig data to the 8 gig Sandisk. It all went over as planned, but ifly connect says it can't read the card, and the 700 says 'can't execute the navigation program'. Fat32 is in place.

Any ideas?

Steve,

Could be the data wasn't properly copied, or there might be an issue with the SD card, or maybe the file format isn't correct on the new card. Try reformatting the 8gig, making sure it's fat32, then re-copy all the files & folders verbatim from your 4gig.

I reformated the 8 gig card using the same 'allocation space' as the 4 gig (32 KB) and FAT32. Inserted the 4 gig into the 'H' drive and copied the contents to my C drive, then re-inserted the 8 gig and copied the file on the C drive to the H drive. This took about 15 min. The 8 gig card when opened shows the same folders as the 4 gig.

I then ejected the 8 gig card, re-inserted it, and opened the ifly connect app. It said it could't find the SD card.

Thanks for your ideas, Walter, but I'm still up the creek....
