I will be updating our internal notes, too. These NMEA gremlins will be the death of me!

50 years ago I was a Navy avionics tech.  8 weeks of vacuum tube school, 2 weeks of transistors.  The closest thing we had to using 1s and 0s was Morse code, which I caught the tail end of.
