Thanks again, Cobra. That does what you said. (Actually, I'd already noticed that effect but not in this context.)  But now I see that what I want just isn't going to work within iFly--I wasn't thinking right about it before. I just want to isolate the track. Or rather, I want to overlay the track on a video of an airfield so that the field is clear with the track over it. I know of a couple of ways to do that, but they're far too much work for a little home moovie of landing on a fairly short (1300 ft) grass runway that is perpendicular to a longer paved runway. So I'll just give up that idea and make do with the track on the sectional view zoomed in on Realview and then brightened like crazy. (That particular Realview image is very dark.) It'll work fine--just a bit lower-res than I'd like in a 4k video.

completely different topic, but that is a pretty turn track.

It was fun. I've landed at that airport (KEZF) many times, but had never even walked on the grass field because I assumed it was short. It LOOKED short. I didn't even know the length. (It's "1300" feet long according to the airport info.) But of course, "short" depends on EVERYthing. Locals call it a crosswind runway, but the wind almost always favors the pavement. So...

But the two other Seareys I was flying with that day landed on the grass ahead of me, so I decided to give it a try, even though there was no wind at all. I also knew from experience that the turf had to be plenty long enough--my SeaRey lands and takes off in 400-500 feet at any loading, land or water. So in this case, "short" was all in my head.

I touched down about 150 feet past the paved runway and started turning off just past the 500-foot cones. Now I'll use the turf there every time I can. And I'll begin the base-to-final turn much sooner, now that I know what to expect there.
