The part of the announcement video that grabbed my attention was the indication that ifly had figured out a way to receive adsb data from garmin avionics. 

Did I understand that correctly? Will this also include GPS information? 

I switched to GP when I bought my airplane with a panel full of garmin boxes, but it is unstable and poorly implemented on android.  I was planning to buy an iPad mini when the new ones come out, but if ifly efb is going to get adsb data, I would honestly prefer to come back to ifly as it's better in every way with the exception of w&b, which I think ifly efb is also going to include? 

Now if you guys could get it to sync flight plans....

Yes. We have to bring EFB to a stable release candidate first before we can start adding all our cool ideas and features, but yes.
