Have ifly720
was much looking forward to terrain warnings.
Since we fly low altitudes often and our sectional is full of peaks very frequently iFly is correctly coloring terrain as yellow or red alert. This is fine...but the flashing/pulsating is terribly distracting under conditions in which I am well aware already of surroundings. It also makes reading detail such as obstacle altitude figures on the sectional that are under the flashing red difficult. imagine the pulsating flashing could be even more distracting at night.
So much so I often turn terrain color warnings off.. Defeating their purpose. What I would like as my first chioce would be that color warning be keep but that flashing would be user configurable to only come on under more urgent/higher risk parameters.
And: maybe this feature is already in there and I just haven't dug in enoug to find it.... I would like to have terrain alerts user configurable in TIME setting. That is, for example to set it so that it comes on when ,for example, I am predicted to come within 500 feet of terrain within the next five minute if maintaining my present course, descent, and speed.
At minimum I would like the system modified to allow meto be able to keep the terrain yellow and red warning colors but turn of the flashing/pulsating of the color overlays.

Not sure what version you are using but the more recent betas work perfectly. Vastly improved from the original release. If your not on beta, the next public release is very, very good with terrain warnings.
