Can you change the sub-menus under the SETUP menu so they don't pop all the way back to the map screen after you have drilled down to a lower level screen to make a change or simply examin a setting. It would great if it just went back to the next level menu so you could continue examining settings rather than all the way back to the map screen. This should be acceptable when using the SETUP menu because most of the time users don't go into SETUP except while on the ground. Therefore no need to jump back to the map quickly.

I agree with Dennis on this one. I guess it'd be less annoying after you have the unit a while, but as a new user, I go to the setup menu a lot....

Thanks for the suggestion - not the first time this came up. Version 5 added a bunch more settings and this element of our interface became an annoyance. We have a complete re-do of our settings page on the list for v7 (didn't make the v6 cut).

+1 on this request. Such a pain and waste of time to drill down 4-5-6 levels of menu selections to make a setup change (or just check the item), then after each and every time have to start over again, over and over for every setup menu option.
No need to keep piling on...Walter's already said there's a "complete re-do" of the settings page coming in the next major software release, so he's got the message.
