Direct-To

I just flew home from Oshkosh with my new 720 sitting where I used to have my AV8OR. Definitely a good move. I'm looking forward to adding one of the ADS-B receivers this fall so I can dump my WxWorx receiver too.

As for my wish list -- I really would like to have a Direct-To button on the screen just above the Flight Plan Button (that spot is begging for a button). It's the feature I use most in my flying -- most of my local trips are direct flights and I don't need to build a flight plan....

That's pretty much what the 'Find Airport' button to the left of the Flight Plan button does. it brings up the list of closest airports but you can hit search from that screen too and then go-direct to anywhere :-)

From a larger perspective, it would be nice to be able to customize all of the buttons -- in the same fashion that the instrument boxes can be customized and relocated. Some people like the find nearest (I don't), some will prefer a Direct-To. Some more buttons, some less....
