I like to have both the waypoint and final destination boxes (identifier, distance, time, eta) displayed on a multi-leg flight. However, would it be possible to have the waypoint boxes not display when on the last leg (waypoint airport ID = final airport ID)? Just like when flying a one-leg flight the waypoint boxes do not display, why do they need to display when the waypoint IS the final?

Piling on: Would it be possible to put the identifiers (JFK, 33NY, etc.) on those waypoint/final destination boxes?

Those items can already be added onto the screen from the setup. I have them on mine. Airport identifier, distance, time, eta.

rjs:

Here's what I did to solve the issue of repetitive boxes when waypoint name/ETE/dist. = final destination name/ETE/dist. I created two sets of instrument configurations: "Direct" and "Waypoints." The "Direct" set of instruments does not include the waypoint name or dist. or ETE, etc. boxes, whereas the "Waypoints" set of instruments shows both waypoints and final destination information boxes. So when I am flying a multi-leg flight plan that has waypoints I use the "Waypoints" set of instruments until I pass the final waypoint, then I just tap any of the instrument boxes and the display switches to the "Direct" set that shows only the destination info for the final leg. By the way, I set up the "BASIC" instrument group identical to the "Direct" configuration and the "EXTENDED" group is identical to the "Waypoints" configuration. ---Ralph

Thanks for the tip, Ralph. I'll have to give that a try.
