After setting up a vertical flight plan, how can I see the target altitudes while in flight? Is there some way to display it on the map screen?

There doesn't seem to be an instrument that will show the current or next target altitude, nor does the VST appear unless descending beyond the preset rate.

The only place that I have found is on the entry screen buried under the flight plan.

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks Ed,

I would like to propose it for the wish list.

I fly VFR in the Los Angeles area and even on a short flight, avoiding all the class B,C and D can require a number of altitude changes, too many to remember for my poor brain. The multiple altitude function will be getting a workout from me, and I really appreciate it being there.

It would be nice to have the option of making an instrument profile that includes some sort of target altitude indicator.

Best,

Paul

And I would like to reiterate my request that the destination be displayed somehow on the vertical profile INSTRUMENT. It is shown on the Altitude setting vertical display, but that does not show flight progress. Having the destination on the verticle profile instrument would be really useful. Can it be placed on the To-Do list, please? Thanks. ====Ralph

Ralph,

I was in Middletucky today and thought about runnimg by MWO to see if you were there. I ran out of time for such an excursion and opted to not do that.

What area do you work in at MWO, I will be there periodically and would like to meet you for some hanger flying sometime.

Tim: I am USUALLY there at MWO on M-F between 10am-to-4 or 5 pm, but I cannot guarantee you will find me there every day (like this Wednesday I'll be down at Lunken at the Kroger hanger mid-day). At MWO I am in the large blue SkyPort hanger adjacent to the FBO (south side) in the back corner recovering Ercoupe wings. This project should last for 6 weeks. I'd love to meet you. ===Ralph
