I noticed a chart symbol that I cannot explain.

The little magenta circle on the Washington Sectional – LN – 30 as well as the MDT ILS 31 Approach Chart:

I’m sure I will end up slapping myself, but what is it?

I just checked with the iFly 700 I have. Not there. I just updated to the new maps.

That is actually a bug. This is a waypoint bug. I think if you go to Flight Plan and clear all, then continue. You will see it go away.

Basically is it auto assigning a waypoint or departure to the nearest airport (8N7). If you touch Flight Plan, you'll notice a Departure is assigned to your location or a nearby airport if within a few miles of one. Just "clear all" unless you plan to add additional waypoints.

This should be resolved in 7.0.8B

BINGO! Waypoint Bug

I knew I had just updated all the info, so that was not a factor...

Clearing the Flight Plan Data did the trick!

Thanks!
