Can not execute the navigation program

Hi, I have a 700 I have owned since new. Love it. Today I got an error message on power up: system can not execute the navigation program. Other programs seem to work in that they will load. I never use it for anything else. I thought I would try updating the s/w but I can't get it to recognize that there is an update. I'm running version 6 s/w I think.

Any tricks?

Glad you found solution. Just in case anyone else stumbles across this thread...this problem usually means the SD card is loose or missing. Check the side of the unit and make sure the card is fully & firmly inserted.
