Walter,

I noticed today that ver 6.5.9 is now the production software version for both the '700 and the '720. Version 6.5.9 does not provide usefull NMEA output on my '700. If I am to stay current on the latest software for my '700 (I've seen the peeks from the alpha version of 7.0; it really looks nice) and have my NEMA output functional, it looks like the TTL output option is the only possibility for my '700.

I've read some posts that indicate that NEMA output now works quite well on the '720.

I am very interested in the TTL option, please keep the coding for it high on your priority list, to hopefully to coordinate with the beta release of 7.0.

Thanks,

David

Ditto on that request. I am also unable to get NMEA output on my 700 since the upgrading to 6.5.9 (6.0.8 worked).

I just noticed an error in my original post: I have edited it to read "Version 6.5.9 does not provide usefull NMEA output on my '700"

Sorry for the confusion,

David

David, as far as I know 6.5.9 NMEA is working fine on 700 and 720 units. You might give our support team a call to discuss this further.

The coding for this feature is minimal. It's really a hardware issue; I've ordered a few test cables from my cable supplier, and if those work out I'll order in quantity and get them on our store.
