Wade, that error comes up if the SD Card is not firmly inserted. Try ejecting it and re-inserting it (this is the postage-stamp-sized card on the left side of your unit).

Regarding the loose connection: If only the AC cord is doing this, it's probably the cord that is bad. If it's both AC and DC cords, then probably the unit. You can work with Ed (support@adventurepilot.com) to get this fixed.
