Yes, aparently correct,... a misnamed download. But they worked previously. Not sure if it's the 6.0.8 update, or something that changed at your server??

Using Win Vista. Download identifies as a ZIP (ZIP Icon, and properties) but the .zip extension is missing when viewing the flashdrive contents.

I haven't tried another download since I added the .zip extension and got a good update. I'll try again and post the results.

Dave (Doc)

EDIT- Meant to say ZIP extension. Changed here.

Me too. s/n MB0C_ _ _ _. Using Kingston DataTraveler 100 G2 (4GB.) Will only find update if powered up with flash drive already plugged in. AKA Ed's workaround. Didn't notice until now because I had always updated that way, but now due to tethering (don't ask, LOL) I've had to split an update into several "packages" and tried to move to successive updates w/o powering down.

Best,

Don (cuyote)

Attempted chart updates today; both times had to power off the iFly before update started. Jjust inserting the drive froze the screen. This has been duplicated twice today.

iFly 700 s/n MB9C0204, v.6.0.8.

Thanks,

I was having this same problem. I have 5 or 6 pen drives and would use what ever one was handy. It seems that any time I try to use one that is 4gb or larger I have this problem. 2gb or small and I never have a problem.
