Working again! Added .zip to the file name. Tho it was identified as a Zip file, the download didn't include the .zip .

I'm trying to update the GPS and create an Updated Package (under the 2 gig limit). The info downloads to the flash drive OK, but when I install the flash drive to the GPS, then check for updates, push OK button, after a short wait I'll get "update file was not found". The GPS info remains expired. I didn't seem to have this problem in the past? Anybody else experience this problem?

Phip, Put the drive back in the computer, open the drive to view the file, then add .zip to the end of the update filename. It'll work then.

Please make sure the file name is iFlyUpdatePackage.zip as the iFly uses this file name, not just the zip ending. If this doesn't work, give us a call at 888-200-5129 and we can troubleshoot you device and memory stick further.

If your using Mac with Safari, make sure you uncheck "Open Safe Downloads" in the Safari Preferences, General Tab. Safari wants to automatically unzip files. You can also use Firefox or Chrome for a browser and you don't have to worry about any changes. I suspect when you updated to Lion, Safari updated as well and was set to a default setting to auto open zip files. I hope this helps and have a great weekend.
