I've just about had it with this GPS. Pushing almost any button on the screen brings up an error code.

Push “Flight Plan” and “An unhandled error has occurred” appears, then if I ok that box and select departure point, type in an identifier, I get the same error message, push ok again and it starts a never ending search and I have to reboot to get it to go again.

Push “Find Airport” and a box with “An unexpected error has occurred in esectional.exc” comes up. If I try to load new software I get an “Error: IOException”.

It took quite a few tries at getting the latest version of the software to load. Trying different flash drives didn't help but I ended up re-formatting a flash drive using the long way as opposed to “quick format” and it finally loaded. That update didn't solve any of the problems though.

The unit has had very little use and when I first received it it seemed to work fine, I was able to flight plan and do the things it was ment to do. But then it started to freeze up at least once every time I took it out and now it won't do anything but show my position and it will still freeze up if mess with it to much.

I've spent way too much time trying to get this thing to work properly. I hope you can help.

Mark

Clearly, there is something wrong with your unit. That is not at all normal!

Give customer service a call: 1-888-200-5129. I'd bet someone there will be able to fix you up.
