After a night flight I shutdown my iFly 700 and left it mounted on the panel. The next afternoon, I booted up the iFly and the screen was blank after boot up. I knew it was probably still in the Night Mode but I could not see anything on the screen to change it to Day Mode. I finally changed the SD to a backup SD and it was back in Day Mode with out of date data (my iPhone iFly app was current).

If one forgets to switch to Day Mode before shutting down, is there a better way to restore Day Mode?

I thought this problem was fixed in an earlier version. It should have booted up on day mode after reboot. What version are you running?

Buddy,

This was addressed in an earlier software update. Can you touch Menu, About, Version and Contact and report back with your software version. I suspect you may simply need to update your GPS, we offer several update methods and affordable subscriptions. Please feel free to contact us at 888-200-5129.

I'm not sure which I was using. I am pretty sure I had the latest version I downloaded on the 24th of July before my flight on the 25th. My fix was to use the other SD chip to boot it up in Day Mode. I think it was also updated but I'm not sure. I usually update before I fly.

You may update your data before you fly, but maybe not the software version. IDK?
