Hello iFly crew, I'm preparing to begin IFR training in the next week or so and I want to upgrade my VFR subscription to the IFR subscription. I checked my account and I still have 84 days left on my VFR subscription. If I purchase the IFR subscription, will it be pro-rated to the remaining 84 days or will it start over for a full year? If it starts over, would I get any credit for the remaining 84 days on my VFR subscription? Also, would the IFR subscription be available on my Google Nexus as my VFR subscription is now? I don't have the multi-platform subscription so would I need to purchase that also? Thanks guys for an awesome GPS, I'm thoroughly enjoying my 700. Sam Washington

Sam,

We prorate IFR upgrades and you would never lose any remaining time on an existing subscription . Now I have an offer to make you. If you'd like to buy the next year of IFR and the Multi-Platform to use on you android as well, that's $129.98 total, I'll approve to convert your remaining 84 days of VFR to IFR as well and you'll also get the 2 free bonus months as part of our Christmas Special.

We we want you to be completely satisfied and I want you to be able to start using that IFR as soon as possible. Feel free to contact me, Shane, in the office tomorrow and il can get you all squared away. Have a great evening.

TAKE THE DEAL, SAM! It's very handy to have a "primary" iFly showing the IFR map and a secondary iFly to look up frequencies, approach plates, weather, etc. even while the panel mounted GPS (in my case a Garmin 430) flies the plane. If you don't have a second system yet, I bet you'll get one.

Shane, Happy New Year to you and the iFly crew. I missed your post with the offer for the IFR package as I haven't been on the forum for a while. I'm about 20 days or so further along now so is the offer still on the table? If so I'll purchase the entire setup. I haven't actually gotten started with the IFR training but I can start playing with the features on the iFly. Thanks. Sam
