Not looking so much to activate legs, but was looking or expecting it to provide an indication that a leg has already been flown, maybe turning it a different color? And also notification or alert that you are reaching your next waypoint. Kind of the way a tomtom tells you to "turn in one half mile".

Jon: I have created two sets of instruments: one for flight plans with waypoints (which I named "WAYPOINTS") and one for a flight plan with no waypoints (named "DIRECT"). The WAYPOINTS set of instruments features large instruments for Waypoint name, distance (Dist: wpoint), and ETE: wpoint along with the Bearing instrument; it also contains the final destination instruments shown beneath in a smaller size and different color. This tells me everything I need to know when approaching the next waypoint for the leg being flown as well as distance and time to the final destination. The "downside" is that on the final segment both the "Waypoint" and "Final" sets of instrument display the same information. So all I do is tap on any instrument to switch among the instrument set-ups to bring up the "DIRECT" set without waypoint instruments. You can create these instrument displays using MENU, SETUP, CUSTOMIZE INSTRUMENTS". ===Ralph
