Jim,

Yes, we are working on an OS and Software fix that should help resolve a redirect authentication issue. Some routers use a website redirect where you have to enter a username and password to access the internet. There are many types of router setups and security configurations and there may be some setups that the iFly 720 may not be compatible with. We will continue to address this and we think we have a solution. It's being tested currently. We are also testing a App that you download onto your PC and insert the SD card into you PC and the App with update it. This is in beta testing now. Watch for it on the Update Tab.

I for one love the SD card update as my laptop has an SD card slot. I can really see an advantage here if I had two SD cards. One stays in the ifly and the other goes home to be updated before a flight. You could simply swap the cards before the flight and take the older version back home.

I understand that the folks that provided the streets program might object to their program being on two cards but surely there is a way to get around that as very few of us have two iFly 's.

This is also a great segue into a pc based flight planning module that would let you do the major planning on your PC so the gps could be left in the aircraft.

Add the ability to file your ifr flight plan and you have all the bases covered.

The sky is the limit with this device and thanks for your tireless efforts to maintain the best gps out there for us owners.
