From my previous experience with consumer electronics devices if you ever get to the point of looking at the supplier, please, anybody by Belkin. Their stuff is cheap, but... you pay for it in the end. Linksys (now Cisco) seems to get it right from the start.

Your mileage may vary. Almost everyone makes some good stuff and some stinkers. I've had very good results with the three consumer-level Belkin network gizmos I've used over the years (two wi-fi routers and a wi-fi adapter for a laptop).
