When performing necesary updates to the data, While the app is

"Preparing Update, Please Wait ...", I am after a considerable delay, getting the message,

"Attempts to download the Database Manifest have timed out. Pleae verify your internet connection, and try again."
At times I need to restart the data Update process five or six times before it eventually succeeds and displays the map wit the red and green states.

I have IFly GPS loaded on three separate Android devices, and on one iPad device. This issue occurs intermittently on all three Android devices, but never occurs on the iPAD. All four devices are connected to ther same 5GB WiFi signal.  This issue occurs regradless of whether I have iFlyGPS data stored on the internal storage on the device or on an inserted micro SD chip.

If I might be doing something incorrectly, please let me know. This is consuming a significant amount of time each time I need to do an update. If this is a software glitch in the code for the Android version of the app, however, please address this.

It would probably be helpful to the folks who will have to troubleshoot this to know:

- What specific devices you're seeing the trouble on, and what version of Android they're running
- What version of iFlyGPS is installed (Menu > About > Version and Contact)

It would probably be best to submit a bug report.  The next time this happens, exit out of iFly, then immediately relaunch it, and go to Menu > About > Send Bug Report, and choose "Use Default" (to send the log from the previous run you just exited from).

This issue is occurring on three separate Android devices:

             Device                             Android version

1. Samsung Galaxy S20 5G.             Ver 12

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab A.                Ver 11

3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.      Ver 11

I also have iFlyGPS installed on an iPad device, but it has never occurred on the iPad.

I will also submit a bug report the next time this occurs, as you describe above.

I have the same issue Samsung Tab A running Android 11. Every now and then it will update, maybe 1 in 10 attempts. I've  cleared cache, unistalled and reinstalled the app, changed storage location to and from internal and SD card and back. Please address this issue.

Have you submitted a bug report, as I described above?
