Was going to go fly this afternoon and decided to update the iFly on my IPad mini (version 8.4.83). Aprox 650mb download, downloaded fine and went to map page. When I got to the airport, sitting in the terminal, I checked updates again and it said that I had aprox 352 mb to download for an update. Downloaded fine, went to map page. Sitting in the aircraft, just for grins, I checked updates again and it AGAIN said that I needed to download 352 mb. Tried it again after the flight and had the same information. For some reason, it will download the data, but will not update itself.

Anyone else having this problem?

Mike

Yep. I think it is the aviation data base that it wants to load each time you check for a chart update. - Jim Williams

This issue has been found & fixed. Rest assured your data is all properly downloaded, the bug is in the data-version detection logic, and we'll have the new release deployed soon.

Thanks!

Thanks Walter,

We can always count on you folks. Was mostly concerned about the data being current; fixin' to go swim around in the shark tank later this week (Atlanta). Got a warm fuzzy now...
