While flying a route line in the WAC mode the course line is pointing to the left by 6 degrees with the heading and bearing to the waypoint equal. No cross track to speak of, and the ball is centered under the triangle on the course tape. Flying the course line centered on the route line builds right cross track quickly.
Switching to the sectional mode centers the course line on the route line.
