After updating the last time, my 700 started showing colored circles around airports. I have disabled shading on all the airspace types, but some of the shaded colors remain. Some shading still comes and goes at different zoom levels, some stay there all the time. For example, one is around a Military Base which is not currently active. It stays pink all the time at all zooms.

I find that bright pink color objectionable and it makes the map difficult to read. How can I turn off that shading?

Sounds like you are seeing the Weather Metars and TAF. Try touching Map Mode and unchecking the Metar/Taf ayer. Or possible, uncheck the Stadium TFRs in Alerts and Warning for Alert Modes.
