On Saturday I experienced something that has all to do with what I was wearing rather than the IFly. I was wearing a white shirt and the unit was on the bottom right of the front window of a C 172. The white shirt was reflected in the unit making it difficult to read! No more white shirts while flying with the unit at that angle.

If you search around the forums, you should be able to find a number of posts recommending wearing a black shirt.

It is possible to just tilt or angle the unit and get rid of the glare.........Terryo

When I put my 720 on a kneeboard in portrait mode I had to adjust the angle of the display..."flat", i.e. zero deg inclination reflected the overhead skylight, 45 deg relected my face, 30 deg my shirt, etc. In my case a 20 deg inclination is "just right". Some time ago I posted a snapshot of the finished kneeboard with battery pack and 12 v power in and an external pigtail lead for a gps antenna. Works very well for me.
