This past weekend was the first time I had the opportunity to test the new autopilot software.  The introduction of anticipated turns in the AP software is a tremendous improvement in the useablity of the system.  I charted a series of waypoints with some large acute angles and one obtuse angle.   Using the old version of the AP software I wouldn't have attempted to engage the autopilot.  The new version handled it like a pro!   On the straight and narrow tracks I also got the impression that there was less hunting for the track.   Curions to know if the rest of the AP logic got  upgraded.     FWIW,  my roll servo was out for repair.  When I reinstalled it, I also recalibrated and  changed system system parameters which could  have had an impact on how it hunts for the track.

Kudos to the AP team.

Curious... What autopilot are you using and what is the A/P platform and interface?

Thanks!

Looks nice... the A/P software that you mention, is it in the Ifly 740 unit?
