I asked for the possibility to display the altitude blocks for Class B and the ones in Class C airspace while in Vector mode a while ago. Nothing ever came from it. I fly in vector mode quite a bit and would like to be able to have the altitude restrictions for Class B and Class C airspace depicted inside those airspace areas without having to touch the screen to find it.

Any possibility that might happen? Thanks....love my 740....just upgraded from a 700.

I've never used Vector mode before but have started using it on take off on my secondary tablet simply because it's easier to see Traffic in that mode. So I noticed too that the floors/ceilings of Class B aren't displayed. (Like I think they were in AirMap.)

I suppose one workaround is to tap the airspace and the QV will pop up and give you the altitudes. Also there's the VP.

But I agree that it would be nice to have them paint on screen.

I've usually got vector mode up on IFR flights. While the autopilot & 430 handles the enroute navigation, the vector mode most easily displays weather, traffic, airspaces, etc. My suggestion would be to add 2 optional layers to the vector chart: a "VFR" option to include altitudes as requested above, and an "IFR" option that would include the tic lines and MEA's for each quadrant.

Yes, this is very feasible. We have it on our wishlist, just need to work out the details of showing on screen and not overlayping other objects and rotating. I think we pretty good idea to handle this issue, so stay tuned. In Vector Mode, objects move around, rotate, etc and this complicates it. On a Sectional or Low Enroute, it is one image and they can plae the alt an not worrry about it conflicting. Stay tuned.

Showing airspace altitudes while in Vector Mode is #1 on my wish list. Get those hamsters running faster!
