Turn on GPS and does not say TFR Data is over 24 hrs old.

Do an update and still same thing- just the " I have read and understand these warnings".

Shut off the unit and turn back on and I get the "Your TFR Data is more than 24 hours old " Message

This has been doing this for a while now.

Software version 7.0.20

Just a minor thing but kind of bugs me at times, other than that, would not leave home without it!

No, it acts differently sometimes.

I just turned it on first time since last week and it booted up and never gave me the your data is more than 24 hours old.

I am inside with not satillite connection. It must be getting some info because when booting up in the lower right corner the date and time are correct

Did the update and went to navigate screen and still no message in red.

Turned off battery and booted up and now I get the message that data is over 24 hours old!

Just tried to update a 2nd time and when it booted up the message was gone. Turned off battery and this time it booted up properly. This time is did find satellites.

It's like everything is backward. Other than that it seems to work great.

I too am experiencing the erratic TFR data out of date message upon startup: 7.0.20 running on a 720

I'm curious, do you have the iFly set to boot directly to Navigation? If you use the Setup from the main screen, set it to boot to the Main Menu screen. I'll do some testing on this as well and report my findings. Thanks for the great information and detail.

Last Sunday morning I noticed that the iFly 720 still had the TFR over Milwaukee even though it had expired late saturday night. I had updated it that morning inside the hangar with no GPS lock. I think I'll update it this evening again from inside and see if the TFR is still there, then walk it outside to get a GPS signal and update again and see if the TFR goes away.

I would have thought that past TFR's would be removed promptly.
