You are probably right. It is a rather retarded position to take, motivated by politics. You and I should live so long, that we'll actually see the Nex-Gen ATC system. I only plan on living another 54 years. But Iike I said, you are probably right.

Have you gotten any Winds Aloft charts to display?

No, but I have only flown once with good ADSB data available, and I was solo at night and more interested in flying the plane than fiddling with the iFly. To be honest, I'm not sure how to pull up the winds data, yet.

At last, a day with substantial weather here in Tucson! I hooked up the ADS-B and the iFly and headed for the nearest hill. I got NexRad weather every 6 minutes or so. It displayed nicely. I was able to get it to animate. Worked great! I was able to pull up TAF, METARS, PIREPS, and this time, even WINDS ALOFT! All functions with geolink and approach plates are working, as well as all weather displays! As advertised!

One question... did I get the winds today because I downloaded TFR/Weather this morning and updated the iFly, or did I get the winds aloft via the ADS-B? If I got them through the ADS-B, then why couldn't I get the winds aloft the other day? There were no rain storms, but certainly there were winds aloft.

On the way home, I switched out of Aviation mode and got into Streets mode. That worked great too!

I'm very pleased. Thanks to all the guys/gals at AP.

I'm glad all is working, I hooked everything up yesterday and it seemed to work. I have to go fly to get a signal here. It shows in the usb device box so I guess they are talking to each other.

One question, does the skyradar have to have the gps antenna atached for it to work? I would think not but ??

You assume correctly... No GPS antenna is needed on the skyradar if it is attached to the iFly unit.

Good Luck..
