Logs

My last 3 flights have not recorded logs. I have had occasions where logs were not recorded but they were isolated incidents. This is a pattern.

Any clues?

Rick, there is a bug in v8 that is causing this if you have 70+ log files in the folder. If you move or remove those files, it should resume logging your flights correctly. This is being corrected in our next release.

Thanks,
Walter

The log recording worked for awhile after I deleted all the logs. On my last two flights, only one leg of the flight was recorded. I have had ocassions where the log was recorded but with a completely different date and time. I think there is still some issue.

Rick,

The iFly datetime comes from the GPS feed. So if the navigation app starts before a GPS signal is established (not a full lock, just need one satellite in view) - the datetime will be incorrect with the log file is opened. So if you are booting up in a hangar or something, you may want to defer starting the nav app until the unit is on for a minute or so - to make sure the date is set first.

Thanks,
Walter
