Just updated to 4.09, noticed my time instrument shows one hour earlier than the current time. I reset the GPS, went to the config page two and checked settings. They look ok ( Mountain Daylight Savings Time, I toggled daylight savings off and on, no change), system menu page shows 2009/02/16 at one hour earlier than current time. Any ideas on getting the clock set to the correct time?

I turned the unit on to check the satellite lock - locked, 11 in view and correct map position. Then I looked at the time - it was correct. Interesting - GPS was in the exact same postion and orientation as it was this morning when I first wrote my question. I thought it strange that the time was off by exactly one hour. Just checked - the system menu date and time is correct as well.

Thanks for the quick response, Scott.

PS You wouldn't happen to be the Scott I know who flys CRJ's out of FAT, would you?

After changing the time zone settings the system clock doesn't reset itself until you reboot the device. I think this can be considered a bug. Until we get it fixed, we will need to document this step.

Thanks,
Walter

I had a strange situation today in that one of my Ifly units was displaying the incorrect date and the incorrect time. Even though it was locked onto 11 satellites and displaying the lock as "Ideal", it was showing a date of 11/17/10 (today is the 21st) and a time that was about 25 minutes behind the actual. I tried resetting the GPS (di\dn't actually kill the power), but that didn't seem to correct this issue.

Other than that, the unit operated normally.
