Dear Walt,
I've had little success in downloading UPDATE files on my IMAC. The downloads end up on my hard drive rather than the memory stick. When I copy the files from the hard drive they "unzip" and the GPS won't recognize them. I'm currently attempting to UPDATE using my Windows laptop. I have inserted the memory stick into the USB port but it isn't clear (to me) whether the UPDATE is going to the memory stick or the hard drive.
Questions: If the data ends up on the hard drive will it still be ZIPed?
Will the data unZIP when I copy it to the memory stick?
It seems logical that I can download directly to the memory stick. How do I accomplish this?
