I use a type of security on my home network that requires entering the MAC (machine address, I think this stands for) a six part hexadecimal number, of each machine accessing the Wi Fin into the router. As far as I know, all devices that access wi fi's, including smart phones, have MACs (thought they arer called something different in the Mac world, for obvious reasons.) The problem is, I don't know how to find if for the Ifly 720. I can turn off this part of my security when I need to download material, but I wondered if there is a way to find the information on the IFly?

Jim, you will need to initiate a connection to your router (which will of course fail), then login to your router and view the attempted connections. Most allow you to approve the connection right there, but worst case you should be able to view and cut/paste the mac address.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Walter
