My guess is that iFly is just mis-handling a situation where there is no valid AHRS attitude data available. It could probably be "nicer" about letting you know that the EFIS (Synthetic vision) display is not supported by your device, but the bottom line is, it sounds like it isn't.

I am having the inverted issue when using a new Tripltek android tablet. When I connect a 740b with the Lynx, the SV is right side up, proper non-AHRS display.
