I'm running the latest iFly version (10.2.75) and have been using Stratux v1.4r4 with no problems since it came out. I updated to the latest release v1.4r5 and no longer have GPS postion in iFly. On the Stratux url page, everything seems to be working as it should getting GPS position lock within about 45 seconds of powering on the unit. However, iFly displays the "No GPS Position Lock" warning and the GPS Status box shows empty signal strengh. It does show both 1090ES and UAT traffic.

I went back to v1.4r4 and all is once again well. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'm thinking so but thought I'd ask around here just in case. I also have a thread open on r/stratux as well.

I just saw your post in the github. I flew last week. But unfortunately for me, I forgot to bring my battery for the Stratux.

I flew with 10.2.75, and it worked okay with my Asus' internal GPS on.

We plan to fly this Friday. I'll leave the Stratux at 1.4r4 (with updates) on the flight out to see how it works. Then I'll try sh'ing up to Stratux 1.4r5 on the way home.

Will plan to report after that.

In the meantime, I'm wondering if your iFly is set to automatically detect the Stratux or if you manually set it to Stratux?

My thinking is that maybe the 1.4r5 firmware identifies itself slightly differently than the old. Although, if iFly can't find the Stratus automatically, I would think that nothing would work.

Anyway, I mention it.
