Just wanted to say THANKS to iFly for honoring a request on the "Distance to Go" mileage...
I asked that the 10ths of each mile be added. It was ALREADY there within 10 miles to go of destination or waypoint, but I asked that it be for ALL mileage.
Why? I fly with multiple other planes in caravans and formations and we often accomplish en-route rendezvous using time, distance to go and cross-track between known waypoints.
By having the 10ths of miles, we can much more accurately call out to each other a more accurate distance to go to determine where a plane is when we do not see him (or do not have ADSB). This really helps in areas of reduced vis or into direct sunlight while accomplishing a rejoin.
You would be surprised at the difference in flight between 10.2 miles to go and 10.9 miles to go! Sometimes planes are really hard to see! Having the 10ths is a real big safety issue for us, so again, my sincere THANKS!
