I just loaded it and was exploring some of the improvements. The new landscape mode is interesting, but it can not be changed after iFly is started. I was expecting a button to be able to switch between the two modes. There is still a button to switch the plates view. When do you expect to have seamless maps?

As was I

I keep my iPad rotation Locked, so I was looking all over for that Screen Orentation choice, like we have in the 720's...

Maybe in the next Dot Release

Are there any significant advantages of the IPad app over the Android app? I have a 1st gen Nexus 7 and was kicking around the idea of getting an IPad Mini Retina.

I don' have an Android, so I have no real basis for an opinion...

I find the iPad 2 to be hard to see in sunlight when I rent a Gobosh, OK in a C-162... (720 works fine in Both!)

The iPad also suffers from a sensitive screen. Often when I grab it to look I am off in some screen I have never seen before. Frustrating if you are taxing!

OK, thanks. I'll just stick with the Nexus 7 for now. I recently bought a RAM suction cup mount for it that works very well in the C162's I fly. Maybe I'll upgrade my Nexus 7 to the newer version.
