I noticed durring my most recent flight everything seemed slow and lagging behind, got to my destination, taxied in and parked, shut down the engine and then looked to the ipad to turn it off and there it showed me on final, then landing and then I watched my little airplane on the screen pull up right behind me and stop. Something was not keeping up. I switched later to my old dual gps 150 and it was right on target and kept up nicely with current position and heading.

This clarity aloft by sagetech is the ADSB sort and connects nicely with the iFly GPS but seems dangerously lagging in updates. This same unit works great with WingXpro. Is there a software glitch or something I am missing here?

I did kind of like the instant replay of my landing tho.

Would love to use the ADSB box but with the delay it will be a no go.

Any ideas?

Casey,

This is not something we've seen happen much. I test with a Clarity SV and had no issues on an iPad Mini. I do occasionally get some AHRS drift or lag, which is typically caused by overheating and not much to be done with.

If you can replicate this on a future flight and then use the Menu -> About -> Send Bug Report, this will provide us some additional details that we can look at what is going on here. Also, we'll try to test this a few more times with our Clarity SV that we have in the office here. We will get to the bottom of this so that you can use your Clarity with confidence.
