I tried to use the Ifly EFB on an android phone and it said my phone did not have a large enough screen. I believe I have the phone with the largest display ever at 7.2". I hope this new product delivers as I already love the Ifly GPS app.

I'm kind of guessing that the visibility of EFB on the public download site might have been a mistake.  It's got a long way to go before it's ready for production release.  I'm also guessing that the AP guys are pretty busy up at Oshkosh right now, so maybe next week we'll hear something back about it.

I don't think the android version posting was a mistake.  I talked to them at Oshkosh and they specifically pointed me to the apk on their website.  They mentioned it was still beta, but I was welcome to check it out.

I agree it is a long way from "done", but it is interesting.  As a data point, I wasn't comfortable with the new EFB and I used the current production iFly version on my flight home.  YMMV.

Ah, okay.  That's the first time they've done that, and they didn't mention in the beta forums they were going to, so it's a little surprising.  And yeah, I wouldn't fly with it right now.
