I have been a loyal user of adventure pilot for years and lately with the introduction of synthetic vision feel like a second class subscriber. I have an Ifly 720 which AdventurePilot does not have the upgrade to SV. They are supporting Ipads Androids and 740s and charging 720 users the same amount for the upgrade subscription. Seems like a cheap shot to get 720 users to spend more money on the 740 !

There must be a logical explanation for what you say. This company typically is very customer focused.

To the best of my recollection, the 720 and the 740 support SV. It's the 700 that won't due to memory constraints.

There is not an upgrade cost for AHRS.  AHRS is added for free.  If an added feature does not work on an older device, that would be a limitation of the older device.  However, it still performs as it did when you bought it.  That's my view on the subject.

I tend to agree.  I originally had the 700 and was completely happy with it and still would be.  The tremendous progress and improvements they've made are a much appreciated bonus.  I eventually bought the 740, partly because of the battery, partly because (as with any computer more than a few years old) I figured that, with all the new improvements, the 700 was just not going to be able to keep up physically.   I guess upgrading is just the price of constant improvement.  Come to think about it, the 740 is a couple two three years old and in computer terms, getting a bit aged.  Hopefully it's got the HP to be able to handle a few more years of upgrades.
