As I mentioned, the easy way is to download a free ssh client to your phone or tablet and you can access your Stratux via wifi at any time. Or you can do an occasional .sh update to clear the Stratux logs. Or you can find the option on the Stratux web page to clear the logs. Once your wifi goes out, you can access your Stratux via ssh and a Cat5 cable. Or you can connect a keyboard mouse and monitor via HDMI and USB and access it as described above. Or you can connect your Stratux to your home network via a Cat5 cable and find the Stratux web pages over your home network. Or you can learn how to reflash the SD card. All of those options require a little bit of time and effort to learn, and I understand the resistance. I wouldn't drive a vehicle if I didn't know how to change a tire, but I know people who have sat on the side of the interstate for hours waiting on a towtruck to come change their flat for them. I wouldn't invest in a Stratux if I didn't know how to fix the rare lockup that requires more than a reboot. And since expanding the card has completely solved that issue for me, I'm happy to pass along my results. Some people don't want a solution that requires effort, they just want a forum where they can complain. Others are looking for solutions. Rather than push back against solutions, perhaps you can share your preferred store where you buy your pre-flashed cards.

The iFly store sells about the least expensive Stratux you can find, sourced straight from the Stratux developer. I've mentioned here before, it would be a nice bonus to their customers if they would expand the cards before they ship out the units.

The problem with expanding SD cards is that the market is full of clone or reject cards and cheap counterfeits. An alarmingly large number of them on the market have brand names on them, but are not from the factory. For a while, the Stratux software was self-expanding the SD card on first boot. Shortly after, complaints came rolling in that the disk was corrupted. After weeks of head scratching (because the developers couldn't get it to fail), someone figured out it was bad SD cards. The card would be labeled internally and externally as 8G (or 16, etc) but actually had less. The software would try to expand past the physical limits and have write failures. So the developers had to remove the auto-expand feature not because of faulty software, but because the market was flooded with faulty SD cards, especially when bought online. I buy mine from WalMart and have never had a problem expanding them. If you're going to buy a pre-flashed SD card, your best bet in my opinion is to buy it from the Stratux store on Amazon.
Google "counterfeit sd cards" for a plethora of hits. Here's an eye-opener:

Jeff Clark,

You have been very patient, and your wisdom is appreciated by me. I will attempt to wrap my head around the procedure you have outlined and attempt to expand my card.

Thanks again...Dan.
