I upgraded to 720 at Sun n Fun primarily for wi fi to accept ADDS B without wire. Love the new unit. primary nav to Crooked island in Bahamas last month. North of Exumas chart ended, but kept airport identifiers as waypoint. thunderstorms from hell NC to Ft Pierce and on return after awesome time in Bahamas.. ADDS B would have been fantastic or pictures of red would have kept me on the ground.
I have read every thing I can about ilevel, clarity, skyradar, and skyguard. I am going to buy a Adds B unit next week at Oshgosh. Ed Moore @ Ifly told me in June to expect lower prices in couple of months. I am old and running out of time.

I completely trust and plead with IFLY people to give me a value recommendation next week. Any current ADDS B user input with these systems would be appreciated.

absolutely do not do Clarity....major problems, bad customer service...I know of two people (one was me) who had to fight Clarity in order to honor their warranty....

Without a doubt, get the Skyguard TWX Vision Pro transceiver. Used for first time on a flight from PHX to Orange County with the IFLY 720 and it is fantastic in every way. Worked perfectly and as advertised. Never knew so many planes were around me. I had 2 instances where I saw planes coming into my path before ATC alerted me. Weather is spot on. At $1399 from IFLY, it is more than worth the money.

If you switched to the WAC charts, they will get you to Pittstown Point, and much farther. I like the scale of them better than sectionals.

Cessna1: I have the SkyGuard TWX Vision Pro with the 720 and after three flights I am 100% satisfied in all respects. Great weather and traffic. I have not talked with ATC yet to get a discreet squawk code to find out how well they see me and if all my data is coming through to them, but I plan to do that this weekend. What has really amazed me is that I live in the middle of nowhere, but I can get FIS-B (weather) right in my living room, and I even have seen traffic leaving the pattern at an airport 3 miles away while I was sitting there in my living room. I have made a few suggestions to Walter and Shane on the forum about tweaking some of the iFly ADSB features, but those are by no means show stoppers. ====Ralph
