Is Ifly going to be able to "talk" to Garmin, ever? I have a GTX-345 and a GDL-51R, I don't really want to clutter up my new airplane by setting a receiver on the floor, seat, or dash.

That's up to Garmin. The iFly folks would love to be compatible with them, but Garmin has historically maintained very tight control over their products and protocols. Unless they have a substantial change in their business posture, I would say it's very unlikely.
