Brian, et, al:

I seem to have IFLY issues with my LG GPAD.

#1 Sometimes the icon of my aircraft will just stop moving across the chart. Then it will catch up after about ten minutes. When checking my Samsung phone backup all is OK.

#2 Sometimes it will not respond when I touch a target or an airport to get information. My phone works OK.

So it looks like it may only be associated with the LG tablet.

Ideas?.....

John

Hi John, thank you for posting this bug report.  To help us identify the root cause and potential fix for this issue, please duplicate the behavior, and then restart iFly and do "Menu => About => Send Bug Report => default log file"... and from this log file, I may find some clues as to what is going on.   In the body of the email, please reference this thread, and tell me the symptoms you witnessed.   Thank you!

Brian:

Sent a log yesterday the 24th.

Here is a more detailed description:

Typically a tap on an airport will bring up the box from which you may select weather, flight plan, etc. This does not work as it did. I did find that if I long press on the airport I could then see a selection box, but it came up on the lower right side of the screen.

Also, a tap on any ADS targets does not bring up info on the target.

All other apps respond OK to a tap on the screen.

Later in the day, the IFLY worked normally on the tablet.

I don't ever seem to have these issues on my Samsung phone. I use it as a backup when the tablet has issues.

John

Here's just a quick reply to let you know we're having internal issues currently with getting me access to bug reports.   Your bug report/log-file were received, but I haven't gotten access to them just yet.
